ABCCMM Inspection – our 3rd!
Jorge Ben de Lazy T, owner Kathy Friedman and Dr. Getulio Vieira The ABCCMM Inspection Visit for 2010 has begun! Dr Getulio Tadeau Vieira arrived in the US from Brazil and begins his 10 day trip cross-country and into Canada today. He will be joined in Montana by Dr Tia Nelson, a US vet in training to become an inspector.
This is the third inspection held for USMMA members who wish to dual register their Mangalarga Marchadors in Brazil with the ABCCMM. At age 3, the horses are inspected by an ABCCMM technician for conformation, gait and temperament.
A total of 12 horses are scheduled to be inspected in five states and one province.

EAMM Article on Marchadors
Brazilian stallions arrive in Europe! Attached is a pdf file from the EAMM, the European Mangalarga Marchador association. In it, the Europeans compare the Marchador to other breeds and why they chose them as their personal horse.
At the National Show in Brazil, they were impressed by the Mangalarga Marchdor being used in sporting events and dressage. Following this visit, the Europeans imported 5 stallions to represent the breed at expositions like Equitana and also for breeding purposes. They are ready for the breed to reach new heights!

2008 USMMA Clinic DVD – MM Inspection, Breed Standard With your 2010 or Lifetime membership, you will receive a free DVD, filmed during our 2008 USMMA clinic held in Montana. The DVD provides insight into the ABCCMM inspection process and the MM breed standards judged.
